Biosphere- In this picture the biosphere is the sky because the biosphere represents all of the living things on Earth. On the other picture the Biosphere is also the grass, dirt, and also the small water pond.
Habitat- A habitat is where an animal lives and also eats their food. A habitat has to be either hot, cold, or medium weather for the animal to survive. In this picture the habitat is the nest in the tree. This nest is the habitat for a bird or any flying animal. They build there nest high on top of trees that way their babies do not get eaten.
Community- A community is a group a animals of the same kind. A community is always together that way they won't get lost or get eaten. In this picture the community is the cows because they are grouped up and eating and living together.

Vocabulary in Action chapter 24

Habitat- A habitat a place were an animal lives. It is also the place where the animal finds food and protection. This area needs to have a climate scribble for living for that species. It is a natural place for an animal or a plant. This is important because its shelter for animals.

Community -  A community is  a place were all of the different species lives and organisms that live in the same place or around each other.

Population- A population is all of the same species that live in the same community everything around you.
All the organisms that belong to the same species living in a community.

Vocabulary in action ch. 24 Section 1 vocab

Habitat- The natural home or environment of an animal, plants, or other organisms.

This tree is a habitat for a bird because it has a birds nest in it, and the tree is hiding the nest from predators.

Population- All the inhabitants of a particular town, area, or country.

This picture is of an elk farm and they are trying to repopulate elk.

Ecosystem- A biological community of interacting organisms and their physical environment.

The reason I chose this picture for ecosystem is because it of the deer interacting with the farmers pushing them from their habitat.

Vocabulary in Action 24

This is a picture of a nest up in a tree for a bird or also known as a Habitat. Habitats are for organisms to live in and have food near them.
These four pictures represent the Biosphere. The Biosphere is all of the Earth that supports life like the crust, the atmosphere, and the waters that cover the Earth. The dirt on the Earth shows the thin layer of crust on the Earth, the horses grazing shows the life that is being supported, the sky represents the atmosphere around the Earth, and the pond represents the waters that cover the Earth.

The Ecosystem is all of the organisms living in an area, as well as nonliving parts in that environment. This is a picture of all of the cattle population in a pen and you may not see ,but there are sparrows on the far fence waiting to swoop down to eat the grasshoppers.  Some of the non-living things in the picture is the dirt or crust.
A Population is all of the organisms of the same species that live in the same area at the same time. This is a picture of a group of ant hills. The ant hills are a Population because there is a group of the same species that live in this area.

A Community is all of the population of all of the species living in an ecosystem. This is a picture of a Community because there is all of the species living in this ecosystem. The different species in this picture is a dog, five cattle and you may see there is a cat in the alley way to your left.

Biotic refers to all living things in the ecosystem. These three pictures are all Biotic. The grass is Biotic because it is living, the fox is Biotic because it is alive and is moving, the green plant is Biotic because it is living and producing oxygen and sugars.

Abiotic is associated with nonliving organisms. The three pictures represent all Abiotic. The oxygen and carbon dioxide are not living, so therefore is Abiotic, the water running through the drain is Abiotic because there are no living organisms in water, and the crust or dirt has no living organisms in it, so it is Abiotic.

A Producer is a plant that goes through the process called photosynthesis. These two pictures are producers. The tomato plant in the picture are producers because not only they are growing plants but they are taking in carbon dioxide and go through the process called photosynthesis  and make their own food and release fresh oxygen. The whole garden is a produce ,not only are they growing vegetables ,but they are taking in carbon dioxide and going through the process of photosynthesis just like the big Cotton Wood tree behind is doing the same process and then they are letting out fresh oxygen.

vocab 24

Biosphere-is the part of earth that supports life. The biosphere is the crust, the water, and the atmosphere.

Habitat-is a place in which a organism lives. You see a habitat when you see a ant hill.

Community-it's all populations in a ecosystem. A community is like a town of people

Vocabulary In Action-Chapter 24

Habitat- A habitat is a place where the animals live. example holes, trees, water.
Biosphere- The biosphere is where all living and none living things are. It is located in the lower layer of the atmosphere.

Abiotic- All none living things are as example dirt, rock, and water.

Habitat- A habitat is where an specific animal lives. The animals habitat has to be either warm cold or mild weather for the animal to be able to live. In this picture a bird nest is shown. A birds habitat has to be high above a ground so that they are able to fly and not be eaten by their predators.

Biosphere- The biosphere is mostly all of the Earth from water, to grass and also the sky. In these pictures the biosphere is shown in the sky and lighting together. In the other picture
Population- a population is a group of animals such as a herd. In this picture

Vocabulary In Action - Chapter 24

Ecosystem - All the living organisms that live in an area and the nonliving features of their environment. The ecosystem is part of the food chain.

Population - All the organisms that belong to the same species living in a community. The population decrease effected the surrounding habitats.

Community - All the populations of different species that live in an ecosystem. Species in a community work together to collect food and survive.

This is an ant hill it is a habitat for aunts to live in.
This is a tree there is a habitat in the tree for a bird to live in a nest.

Population- made up of all organisms of the same species that life in an area at the same time.

Community- all the populations of all species in the prairie ecosystem.

Biosphere: Supports all life on Earth. The biosphere is made of different environments that are homes to different species. The biosphere is the crust, the water, and the atmosphere. It is located on the lower layer of the atmosphere.

Biotic:All the living things in an ecosystem. The grass is an example of biotic because it is living.

Ecosystem:All the living organisms that live in an area and the nonliving features of their environment. Dirt is a nonliving thing.
