Habitat is the home of an animal.
The ants home are in the colonies.

Biosphere is all the living organisms on earth.
All of the organisms live on the biosphere.

Community a group of people that live in the same place.
I live in the community of O'Neill Nebraska.

Biosphere -  the regions of the surface , atmosphere and hyrdosphere of the earth or parts of other planets occupied by living organisms.

Vocabulary in action- chapter 24

Population- In this picture is population because the ducks are the same species and the are in one group.

Biosphere- In this picture the grass is biosphere because it help support life.

Ecosystem- In this picture the pond is ecosystem because it consist of nonliving and living species.

The biosphere is anything in the atmosphere and on the crust of earth that can support life. This picture is of my backyard and represents the biosphere because it shows living things, the atmosphere, and the earth's crust.

Biotic is the living organisms in an ecosystem. The picture is of my dirty pool and represents biotic because it has algae growing in it.

 A community is a group of species of organisms in a certain area living together. The picture is of roly polys, and a couple ants living under a brick paver by my house.

Vocabulary in acton- Chapter 24

Habitat- a habitat is a place where and animal lives and where finds food and shelter. such as trees for birds to live in and the grass for insects.

Biosphere is every thing from the earths crust to the atmosphere for  example the picture of the dirt represents the crust and the sky shows the atmosphere the creek shows the water that covers the earth.

ecosystem- a biological community of interacting organisms and their physical environment.

such as a bull and birds 

biotic - biotic is any thing thats a living organism. ex. ants underneath a dead stump.

population - population is more than one of the same species in one area, ex. squirrels in a tree.

community - is where there are more than one specie in a area ex. coyotes prairie dogs, rabbits, raccoons, turkeys, wood chucks, and squirrels.
