Habitat- a place where an animal lives it is also the place where that animal finds food and shelter. This area needs to have a climate suitable for living for the species

This is an ant hill it is a habitat for aunts to live in.

This is a tree there is a habitat in the tree for a bird to live in a nest.


Population- made up of all organisms of the same species that life in an area at the same time.

Community- all the populations of all species in the prairie ecosystem.
