One Biotic limiting factor would be is if there was a clan of ants and there was one million there and they only made one habitat that could only fit five hundred thousand. The other five hundred thousand would have to go and relocate some other place for their habitat. This would be called competition for a habitat.

An Abiotic limiting factor would be when a big land bridge for animals to get from their habitat to where there is food. After the bridge would erode till the bridge would collapse the animals couldn't be able to get from their habitat to food and eventually the animals might run out of food and the population of that specific animal would decrease.
