An example of a biotic limiting factor is a living components of an ecosystem. An example of biotic factors is seaweed. A biotic limiting factor could be a deer or a fish. An example of an abiotic factor is air, oxygen, and soil. A biotic factor would be 10 birds but only 5 trees. This is an example of a biotic factor because 5 birds are going to have to find another place to live. So the 5 birds that don't have a place to live might die. An example of an abiotic factor is tornado because a tornado can destroy habitats but it is not a living thing.
