Mutualism is on the log because the fungi is using the log to survive, and the
log is not getting anything out of the fungi. Lichens are a result of mutualism
because it uses biotic stuff to live of of. Lichens don't need a lot of
sunlight to grow. Most lichens are composed fungal filaments. Lichens are
important because they are part of the food wed in several ecosystem.
